In 1991, founder and CEO Bob Johnson opened his first coffee shop, a local place called Coffee Time in Vineland, New Jersey. Coffee Time became popular with locals for its friendly atmosphere and local events, but most of all for its superb, fresh roasted coffee.

Upon opening the store, Bob purchased his own roaster, which the company still owns today.

The importance of freshness when it comes to a terrific cup of coffee is something that we practice every single day. When Bob decided to expand and share his gourmet recipes with a wider audience, he moved his operations to a Millville, NJ location, where he began roasting full time and offering fresh gourmet coffee to shops and retailers, and now offering the same great flavor and fragrance to you.

Johnson and his company still stand firm that freshness is the key to great coffee, and that’s why our products are not inventoried or warehoused. Our coffee is roasted, packaged, and shipped to retail stores and coffee shops throughout the United States.
